This is the latest key step in demonstrating our ongoing commitment to our customers. Following on the heels of our clean Type 1 report last year, this Type 2 certification attests that an independent third party has found our information security practices, policies, procedures, and team to be continuously compliant with the highest industry standards.
SOC 2 was developed by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) to certify that a company is adhering to industry security standards in a comprehensive way. To receive certification, an organization codifies policies and procedures, continuously monitors their execution and conformance, and annually submits to a third-party audit to ensure compliance with the Trust Services Criteria (TSC).
